January 17 - 26, 2020 – Alexandria Restaurant Week - Alexandria

Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week showcases the inventiveness of local chefs in neighborhoods throughout the city. At a range of locales, from neighborhood favorites to restaurants specializing in international cuisine, guests will savor the flavors of Alexandria's distinctive collection of eateries. 70 restaurants will offer a $35 three-course dinner for one OR a $35 dinner for two. Thirty five restaurants will also offer lunch menus at $15 or $22 per person in addition to the dinner specials. Brunch lovers can enjoy brunch menus for $15 or $22 per person at more than a dozen restaurants.

January 17 - 26, 2020 – FXBG Restaurant Week - Fredericksburg

The most magical time of the year is returning to Downtown Fredericksburg. No, not the holiday season. It’s Winter Restaurant Week and it features the rarest of pleasures: a discounted meal. Winter Restaurant Week 2020 runs Jan. 17 through Jan. 26 and will feature 31 restaurants. The week is devoted to menus at specific price points at locally owned and run eateries so any diner, even those on a budget, can join in the fun. The event also allows restaurants to showcase what they do best, so diners can get a little taste of many concepts. Options for Winter Restaurant Week include breakfast, lunch and dinner specials at price points in the “20 in 2020” range of $6.20, $10.20, $20.20 and $30.20 at participating restaurants

January 24 - February 1, 2020 – C-ville Restaurant Week - Charlottesville

For any diner who has ever dreamed about fine dining without breaking the bank, Restaurant Week is that dream… come true. Modeled on similar events in other cities, this is seven days of good food and good fun. Diners get to choose from each participating restaurant’s special prix fixe menu and enjoy three courses— typically an appetizer, an entree, and dessert— for just $29 or $39.

Glory Days Grill Raises $69K in Golf Event

 

Glory Days Grill hosted its 32nd annual golf tournament at the Westfield’s Golf Club in Clifton, Virginia, on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. The annual tournament raised a record $69,031 of which $40,000 has been designated for the tournament's main beneficiary, The Sunshine Foundation. Glory Days Grill will make additional contributions totaling $29,031 to a variety of local charities and foundations serving the Washington-Baltimore corridor.  Past recipients include local organizations such as: Jill’s House; Lorton Community Action Center; Life with Cancer; Little Flower Community; CASA – Baltimore County; and The Fisher House.

 

Over the past 16 years, Glory Days Grill has raised more than $714,000 through their annual golf tournament allowing the company to financially support the missions of many local and regional charities. Glory Days Grill has been recognized over the years for a variety of charitable contributions and fundraising efforts including the National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Neighbor Award  (15x); The Washington Regional Alcohol Program’s ‘WRAPPY’ Community Partnership Award (7x); and an eleven-time winner of the Restaurant Association of Maryland’s Cornerstone of the Industry Award. This award recognizes companies that operate as the cornerstone of their communities, through positive job creation, community support, and charitable contributions.
